April 19-21, UT Austin, I will be presenting a bioperformance integrated in 3D immersive environment. It features a new biotech model (steampunk cybernetic design), integrating Heart rate (HR), Electromyography (EMG) and Fine motor skills control. It also has a Kinect that tracks body movements. All these control will be manipulating the visuals and sounds in real time.
For two whole week, Dance Jockey will be preforming 7 times a day a 7 min show at the Car Expo in São Paulo for the brand Peugeot. Tearing away from conventions and always experimenting, Dance Jockey @ Peugeot is composed of four parts:
Car Percussion
Car Percussion: 4 contact microfones are placed on the hood, front door, back door and ceiling of the car so 4 percussionists can literally use the car as a percussive instrument.
Interactive Dance
Interactive Dance: A special camera called Kinect follows the movements of a dancer and responds with sound effects. Instead of dancing to music, you make music by dancing.

Urban Dance: 8 dancers (team Tsunami All Star) perform various styles street, break, parkour, animation, etc… While one vocalist does beatboxing and sings.
Achiles Live Painting
Live Art: The artist Achiles uses a tablet to draw, in real time, pictures of cars on a massive LED screen.

Dance Jockey is a performance that features me playing music BY dancing, NOT the other way around. With the help of Ståle Skogstad on the hardware and choreography side.
Using a wii remote and a lot of programing (max/msp/liveosc/clyphx), i am able to control all of ableton live with my guitar. This makes it possible to perform sets with a live instrument! All done in real-time: auto-tune, synth control and live set control. should be performing this nex week in the UK, London, Milton Keys.
